Yes, the hardwood (oak or ash) is very robust in its natural form and can withstand the weather.
However, it remains a natural product and so the weather does not leave the wood unaffected. Please make sure that the wood is not directly exposed to wind and weather.

Yes, we oil the wood with natural linseed oil in the final processing step. This gives the wood the right shine and provides additional protection.
